Three Years since October 7, 2023
Today marks three years since Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, 2023, killing 1,200 people and taking 251 hostages into Gaza. Of those 251 hostages, 85 were killed in captivity. Among those who survived, some endured captivity for 2 years, 3 months, 2 weeks and 5 days.
We remember those who were lost. We respect those who endured such horrific attacks. We honor those who fought against such evil.
Most of all, we cling to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
We hold fast to the one true Creator God—a God who loves Israel and set Israel apart for the purpose of bringing forth His Son, Yeshua, the Messiah—the King of the Jews.
We have an everlasting hope in Yeshua and His finished work on the cross—a hope that transcends even the greatest of evils and the deepest of sorrows.
We remember.
We mourn.
We pray.
And we hope in Yeshua.
