Dear Friends,
It's been quite a year for Israel.
Amidst a multi-front war, a skyrocketing increase in antisemitism and a world that seems to have completely turned on it's head, one thing remains true—Israel needs Yeshua.
For a people experiencing an endless tirade of hatred, attacks and challenges to their identity, the hope that we find in Jesus is a hope that can change this nation. I believe that the best path to reaching Israel for Jesus is two-fold:
By supporting and equipping ministries and followers of Yeshua who are on the ground in Israel.
By educating American churches and followers of Jesus on the Jewish roots of our faith, making clear our roll as allies and those who have been "grafted in."
While I have missed being able to step foot on Israel soil for over a year, I feel closer than ever to this nation and to the ministry that God has gifted to me. Through my role on staff at Mars Hill Community Church, a missions opportunity in Central America this summer and in day-to-day walking with Him, this year has been rich for me. God has granted me both a remarkable peace and a renewed purpose for Bridge to Israel. In that, I've asked God, "How can we work towards the two points above? How can we make these things happen on a practical level?"
While traditional travel to Israel is on pause, God is still so faithful to present opportunities to bless "His treasured possession" (Psalm 135:4).
As 2024, my hope is that we can raise $10,000 before the new year and directly impact ministries at work in Israel while also promoting a Biblical understanding of the Jewish roots of Christianity here in our own community.
A fund of $10,000 would allow for:
A half-ride scholarship (for one year) to a student at Israel College of the Bible (One for Israel) in Netanya, the only Hebrew-language Christian seminary in the world.
A new computer for the media ministry at Beit Eliyahu Congregation in Haifa. The media needs of Beit Eliyahu are huge, as they host worship services in Hebrew and translate into both English and Russian to accommodate their community.
The development of two new courses offered locally and online by Bridge to Israel. One course on the Jewish Roots of a Faith in Jesus Christ and another on Biblical Geography.
Should God bless this campaign and we have need for a stretch goal beyond $10,000, additional funds would increase the scholarship amount to Israel College of the Bible and also go towards supporting the work of Israeli tour guides that have suffered a loss of income.
I hope you will prayerfully consider giving towards this goal. All donations are tax deductible in the United States. You can give at bridgetoisrael.org/give or by clicking the button below.
Thank you for your time and thank you for your heart for Israel.
In Yeshua,
Cam McAllister
