Katharine van der Beek was born in the UK not knowing the Jewish heritage on her mother’s side of the family. (Her father was an Anglican vicar!) As a young person, she fully believed that all Israeli’s were monsters who repressed the Palestinian people, because of the influence of the British media. Following a radical return to her Messiah while studying in the Netherlands, Yeshua gently reminded her of her Jewish roots, inviting her to celebrate Shabbat and to return home to Israel.

Katharine trained as a professional musician in London, Helsinki and Den Haag, but after living in Israel, Yeshua turned her heart to harp worship and by His grace, to represent the nation of Israel as a tour guide. Since 2017 she has had the privilege to guide countless life-changing tours of the land, often with her harp in hand! Katharine is highly in demand both as a tour guide and speaker, having spoken internationally at conferences and churches, and on podcasts and zoom calls for many nations including the USA, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Singapore, Malyasia, Australia and radio broadcasts and TV broadcasts including for TBN Israel.
